<p>Introducing AWEA with mature manufacturing abilities and advanced technology skills, the AF series. They are based on high rigidity structure and three axes high precision linear guide way design with fast arm type ATC and chip conveying system (OPTION). It is to provide you with fast, strong, stable machining performance. AF series are broadly used in high precision machine parts manufacturers, which can easily meet your demands of today and tomorrow. Based on AWEA innovative technology, the AF series is specialized on high precision parts and mold machining industry. It can fully present high precision and high efficiency machining ability with very reasonable cost.</p>
<p>High torque DIRECT-DRIVEN type spindle design. The spindle and motor are evaluated in-house using the dynamic balance test to ensure optimal machining ability.</p>
<p>High-Speed Machining Capability </p>
<p>Engineered with high-speed performance and flexibility in mind, the AF-100 combine power, strength and speed to accomplish today’s high-speed milling applications. This machine features a Side Mount Swing-Arm 30-Tool Auto Tool Changer, 12,000RPM Direct-Driven Spindle, 40 Taper, 15/25/30HP (Cont./S3 25%/Peak), and rapids of 1,418 IPM on X axis and Y axis and 945 IPM on Z-axis. These features are the basic elements to high-speed machining. It comes with available optional features such as Spindle Oil Chiller, Rigid Tapping, Chip Auger, Wireless Intuitive Probe System, High Pressure Coolant Thru Spindle System and Enclosed Splash Guard to further boost the machines’ performance and efficiency level. Full 4th/5th axis Rotary/Indexer, and FANUC High speed machining mode are also available options. </p>
<p>Super Rigidity Structure</p>
<p>All casting components utilize the Finite Element Analysis (FEA). It provides optimal machine design and light-weighted structural advantages to ensure the best machine rigidity. △ (Delta) wide span column mechanism increases machining rigidity and stabilizes the base Hduring fast movement. Rib reinforced working table increases machining stability and will restrain vibrations.</p>
<p>The column and bed are all precisely hand scraped to ensure optimal assembly precision, structural strength and balanced load. The T-shaped MEEHANITE casting base provides strong support and optimal dynamic precision. </p>
<p>High Precision Axial Feeding System</p>
<p>All axes are driven by FANUC αi series absolute AC direct drive servo motor, which provides powerful thrust, fast acceleration, and deceleration movement. It can greatly decrease motor load and lower thermal expansion to a minimum, ensuring optimal performance and precision. The intergraded brake on the Z-axis servomotor automatically engages, preventing movement of Z-axis when power is shut off, eliminating the use of a counter balance weight.</p>
<p>The hardened and precision ground, C3 class ball screw. The high precision twin rotating nut ball screws provide outstanding heavy-duty cutting and ensure precision as well as a long-life span. Ball screw pretension and preloaded bearings on all axes minimizes thermal distortion.</p>
<p>The one-piece ball screw motor mount and bearing box allows the cutting pressure to evenly distribute across the casting body, which increases the axial system overall rigidity and prevents the ball screw from deformation. The contact surface between spindle heads and spindle are all precisely hand scraped to ensure optimal performance and precision. </p>
<p>High-Precision Linear Guide Way </p>
<p>The widely spaced linear ways are fastened on ground surfaces for maximum strength and precision. Linear ways provide fast acceleration and deceleration for quick and accurate positioning. These features all contribute to the machine’s reliable, long-term cutting performance and enhance the dependability and stability of machining accuracy. Telescopic slide way covers protect all slide ways from coolant and chips. </p>
<p>Rugged Design and Tight Fit Construction</p>
<p>Combining tremendous strength, capacity and reliability, the AF series is engineered for the ultimate milling power to accomplish today’s most demanding machining applications. The one-piece bed design featuring MEEHANITE Cast Iron, massive curve ribbed saddle and heavily ribbed oversized box type column all result in uniform load distribution and vibration free machining during high speed and heavy cutting operations. </p>
<p>Virtually every contact surface on all casting components is hand scraped to ensure the tightest fit and highest accuracy possible. The result of the intensive details put into this assembly is ultimate damping, which provides longer tool life and improvements in part surface finishes.</p>
<p>High Performance Spindle System</p>
<p>High Speed, High Power Direct-drive Spindle. Direct-drive spindle efficiently separates the heat generated from the motor, which reduces deformation, therefore increasing machining accuracy. Floating type hydraulic tool release device eliminates pressure on the spindle bearing when releasing a tool. Several options of spindle heads and speed are available to fulfill various high-speed machining requirements. Direct-drive spindle provides ability of precise contour machining to fulfill requirements of mold industry and high accuracy requirement components.</p>

<p>AF Series comes standard with a BIG-PLUS Spindle. The Big Plus spindle system and tooling surpasses all other spindle concepts. It features simultaneous taper and flange contact between the machine spindle and tool holder as well as complete interchangeability with existing machines and tools.</p>
<p>FANUC 0i-MF PLUS Control </p>
<p>YAMA SEIKI utilizes the latest in control technology from FANUC, the 0i-MF PLUS control. This control provides many features as standard that are not available or costly options found on other controls. Features such as High-Speed Skip, Rigid Tapping, Helical Interpolation, Custom Macro B, Automatic Acceleration/Deceleration, HRV Control, AI Contour Control II, Jerk Control, Smooth Tolerance Control are standard plus many more. </p>
<p>Side Mount Automatic Swing-Arm Auto Tool Changer</p>
<p>The AF-1000 standard automatic swing-arm type tool changer can store 30 tools. The swing-arm automatic tool changer allows easy access to tool holders for set up and protects the tool shanks from dirt, chips and coolant. </p>
<p>The External Air Buffer Tank supplies consistent air flow to ATC and stop ATC jam caused by interruption of air supply. </p>
<p>Automatic Lubrication System</p>
<p>The automatic lubrication system delivers a constant and measured flow of oil to the slide ways, ball screw and spindle. Copper piping is used for oil distribution for long-term durability.</p>
<p>Enclosed Splashguard</p>
<p>An enclosed splashguard & telescopic slide way covers are provided as standard features. </p>

<p>All machines pass ISO230 and VDI3441 standard quality check. Ensuring quick and trouble free start up once the machine is received.
