Designed with heavy-duty performance and practicality in mind, the BM1500-II offers power, strength and speed to accomplish today’s toughest machining applications. The 4 box ways on Y-axis design provides a super rigid foundation to ensure heavy-duty cutting capabilities. The spindle is powered by a Fanuc alpha 15i 20/25/40HP (CONT./30min./PEAK) AC spindle motor. New features include a 24, 30 or 40 tool swing arm tool changer, box ways on all axes, 40 taper (15,000RPM) or 50 taper (6,000RPM) spindle, spindle oil chiller, chip wash down, chip conveyor, enclosed splash guard, and much more. A Direct Driven (40 Taper), or 2-speed heavy-duty geared spindle (50 Taper) is also standard, generating the power needed to tackle the toughest of materials
